Soner Özer 

A graduate of Ankara State Conservatoire in Turkey has commited himself to promoting percussion instruments giving concerts in Schools ,TV and Radio programmes. Praised as "Exceptional Talent"by "The Best Percussionist of Europe" award Prof.Sylvio Gualda ,was excepted to participate in his classes in Paris Versaille Conservatoire. He studied with Classical Jazz and Modern Percussion masters  Yves Bruestaux ,William Blanc, Luis Conte and John Mayer in Switzerland and USA. He devoted his career in Promoting Turkish Aksak Rhythms and melodies which concluded in rhythmical compositions for Modern Folk Organization, AFTUD , HU Folk Organization and Sultan s Of The Dance where he also performed as a Percussionist. As Ozer Percussion Duo he performed the significant work by Bella Bartok for Two piano and Two Percussion Sonata with Ufuk-Bahar Dorduncu with Presidential Symphony Orchestra in Ankara. He performed in concert in Huston Festival representing Turkey with Ozer Percussion duo MDT and Durul Gence Six received much acclaim from the public. Performing at all major festivals in Turkey Ozer also performed with Fazil Say and Huseyin Sermet for their World Premier CD recordings as a guest performer. He has performed as a soloist in four continents around the World and with leading Orchestras in Turkey . He has arranged Turkish melodies for percussion and strings where they were performed by Ozer Percussion duo and Turquartet in Pakistan,New York in Mayfest after which he was invited by head of Percussion of New York University Johnathan Hass to give a masterclass on Turkish Rhythms Madrid became another destination for Ozer Percussion duo where they grouped with leading Spanish Percussionists in concert. He has been the First Prize Winner of "7th Mersin Harbour Searches for its Rhythm"Competition with his composition for Percussion Ensamble Organized within Mersin International Music Festival.


Dincer Özer began his musical training with his father Erdem Özer,after which he was excepted to further his musical studies at the Ankara State Conservatoire ın Turkey with Muzaffer Erberik and Hasim Yedican. During his solo studentship as an undergraduate,he gave many performances with percussion groups,which he later became a permanent member. After his successful graduation from the Percussion department,he gained a position at the Presidential Symphony Orchestra where he became a member of the percussion group. Özer was awarded first prize at 'Mediterranean Youth Orchestra (France)and performed here as the leader of the percussion group,participated in many masterclasses abroad including the renowned percussionist Sylvic Gualdo  (France) Jazz musician S.Saunders Smith (USA),Symphonic music with Dannis Kain and Rock music with Kenneith Anoff .He was very much acclaimed by the American press. He won first prize to obtain a scholarship by the Swiss Government to study Baget percussion with Yves Bruestaux,Mallet percussion with William Blanc and Latin percussion with John  Mayer in Geneva. Amongst his musical duties at the Presidential Symphony Orchestra in Ankara,Özer also continues to give solo performances which includes works such as  Bela Bartok Concerto for two piano and percussion ,performing with Swiss Roman Orchestra,International Geneva Percussion Group and CD and TV recording projects in Turkey and abroad. Touring extensively with the Presidential Orchestra around the world,he still provides quality time to new projects,adopting Turkish melodies and rhythms to keyboard percussion instruments,performing as a duo with his percussionist brother Soner Özer,modern dance and folk dance companies. Currently he shares his musical knowledge by giving masterclasses and promotes young talents while organizing  a percussion festival which celebrates its 12 th anniversary next year.The Festival was awarded "The Best Activity "by The Family and Social Policies Ministery and Civil Organizations alike.
